The Beauty Edit: New York Fashion Week A/W 17
The Top 6 beauty trends we spotted at NYFW
Pop of PINK!
While at Altuzarra, lids were just a tad bit pigmented, a soft subtle pink, Oscar De La Renta was more in-your-face, with a pop of fuchsia eyeliner eyeliner and complimenting shadow. Eye Candy indeed!

Prabal Gurung did coloured, graphic eyeliner to lend more power to her empowered muse, while Tome’s “Guerilla Girls” were decidedly more unfeminine with a white liner swept across the upper lid and unfinished brows.

Inner Corner Highlight
As party of the bare-face, strobed and not-contoured movement towards glowing skin, inner corner highlights are gaining more popularity on the runways. Calvin Klein was natural, and the ladies at Proenza Schouler were more sci-fi.

Lower Lashes as the new upper lashes
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again – Lower lashes as the new upper lashes. They were exaggerated, sad clown-like at Jeremy Scott, with a tear drawn in for good measure. At Tadashi Shoji, upper lashes were mascara’d but shadow and falsies were limited only to the lower lashes.

Supersized Hair Accessories
At Tory Burch, models wore large, velvet bows in their ponytails, but Marchesa took the cake with elaborate fresh flower crowns sewn into models’ hair.
