HOL(I) BIBLE: Your Beauty Cheat Sheet for Holi
It’s all fun and games until you have to return to work looking half orange.
To ensure you aren’t washing off colour from your cuticles for weeks to come, coat your nails with clear polish. After, just take off the coat and all that colour with acetone-free nail polish remover.
Your hair will incur the most damage during the celebrations, and if you love it, you need to drench it in hair oil, and braid it. Coloured hair will suffer the most trauma if you don’t and your glossy beach-blonde will turn into a frizzy red. The oil will absorb all the colour, making it much easier to wash it off.

For Your Body
If you can, bathe in sunscreen. You will be outside and the most important rule for good skin is to always wear sunscreen because sun damage is irreversible. Oil your body so it’s easier to wash off the colour.
Post-festivity skin care is equally essential. If you see any redness or rashes, use aloe vera right away. Otherwise, a rich helping of moisturiser is all you need.

For Your Face
